TD Bank & Uber One
TD cardholders can receive a complimentary Uber One membership (which provides $0 delivery fees and 5% off eligible rides). The length of the trial depends on your specific card:
A 6-month free trial is available for premium cards like the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite/Privilege, TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite, and TD Cash Back Visa Infinite. A 3-Month Free Trial available for cards like the TD Rewards Visa or TD Platinum Travel Visa. Most premium TD cardholders also receive a permanent 20% discount off the monthly Uber One membership fee after their trial ends, provided the card remains the primary payment method.
Claim it
Ensure you have the latest version of the Uber app. Go to the Wallet or Payment section and add your eligible TD credit card. Ensure the TD card is selected as your primary payment method. Look for an "Uber One" or "Exclusive TD Offer" banner in the app’s Account menu. Tap it and follow the prompts to "Enroll" or "Activate." Your benefits should be active within 48 hours.

Link Your Aeroplan Account
In Canada, linking your Aeroplan account to Uber is essentially a "passive" way to get free credit over time. You earn 1 point per $1 on eligible Uber Eats orders and premium rides (like Uber Comfort or XL). Go to Account, Settings, Aeroplan in the Uber app. Once you accumulate enough points, you can redeem them for Uber Gift Cards in the Aeroplan eStore.
Uber One for Students
If you are a student, you shouldn't be paying the full $9.99/month for Uber One. Students get Uber One for approximately $4.99/month. You get 5% off eligible rides, $0 delivery fees on food, and 6% back in Uber One credits on every eligible ride you take. Search "Student" in the Uber app or look for the student verification link (usually via SheerID) in the Uber One menu.
