The Legendary Salute Program at Cabela’s Canada gives eligible active-duty first responders such as law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and wildlife agents a year-round 10% discount on most regular and sale merchandise, as well as a 5% discount on firearms and ammunition.

This savings offer can even be stacked on top of select existing sales and promotions. Keep in mind that certain items are excluded from the program, including big-ticket items like boats, trailers, outboard motors, ATVs, UTVs, tractors, alcohol, gift cards, and non-merchandise services like hunting or fishing licenses.

To Claim

To claim the discount online, start by signing in to or creating a user account on the Cabela’s Canada website. Next, complete the one-time service verification through their third-party partner, SheerID, after which your discount will automatically apply to eligible items during checkout. If you prefer shopping in person, you can simply present an official service credential, first responder badge, or valid official ID directly to the cashier at checkout at any Cabela’s store in Canada.
