Hong Kong Airlines offers a dedicated Student Offer to make air travel more convenient for eligible students traveling on selected short-haul and long-haul routes. The offer provides special student fares together with enhanced baggage allowances, making it particularly useful for students traveling with additional belongings for their studies. On eligible long-haul routes, students can receive 3 pieces of checked baggage weighing up to 23KG each in Economy Class or 3 pieces weighing up to 32KG each in Business Class. Short-haul student fares have a lower allowance of 2 pieces, with the same 23KG Economy and 32KG Business limits. The long-haul network includes selected services to destinations such as Vancouver, Sydney, and Melbourne.

To claim the Hong Kong Airlines student offer, eligible students should book the applicable student fare through Hong Kong Airlines or a designated travel agent and complete the required student verification. The long-haul student offer is available for sale through March 31, 2027, while the short-haul offer is available through December 31, 2026; eligible travel under the offer can be taken through December 31, 2027. Long-haul student fares also include free rebooking, provided the change is made at least 12 hours before the scheduled departure, with any applicable fare difference payable. Students must meet the eligibility requirements and provide valid proof of student status when requested.
