Shell is currently offering an integrated discount and rewards program designed to maximize the value of every fuel stop through their partnership with CAA and AIR MILES. The specific discounts available through this partnership include a consistent saving of 3 cents per litre on all grades of Shell fuel, as well as a 10% discount on car washes and most in-store convenience purchases for CAA/AMA/BCAA members.
To claim the Shell credit card and loyalty discounts, you must first download the Shell App and create an account. The primary way to unlock these savings is by "stacking" your memberships within the app's digital wallet. By navigating to the "Payment Methods" or "Loyalty" section, you can link your AIR MILES collector number to gain Shell Go+ status and enter your CAA, AMA, or BCAA membership number to activate instant fuel savings.
Once these accounts are linked, you simply add a preferred credit or debit card to the Shell EasyPay feature. When you arrive at a station, using the app to pay automatically applies all eligible discounts and rewards to your transaction in a single step.
Beyond these ongoing savings, the program provides a significant entry incentive for new users who join Shell Go+ and complete a minimum 30L fuel purchase, as they are currently eligible for a 95 AIR MILES Cash Mile bonus.

Shell Car Wash Subscription
If you wash your car frequently, Shell offers a monthly subscription that can save you significant money compared to buying individual washes. For a monthly fee (typically around $59.99), you get one Ultimate car wash per day. This is managed exclusively through the Shell App via the "Wash Wallet". It renews monthly, and you simply drive up and activate the wash from your phone.
The Switch to Scene+
Starting March 3, 2026, in Alberta and May 26, 2026, nationwide, Shell is moving away from AIR MILES and partnering with Scene+. This change introduces new ways to save. You will earn 1 Scene+ point per litre on all fuel grades and 1 point per $1 spent on car washes and convenience store items. You can redeem 1,000 Scene+ points for an instant $10 discount at the pump or in-store. Unlike the previous program, there are no minimum purchase requirements (like the 10L or 20L rules) to earn points.
AIR MILES Cash Bonus
If you are still using AIR MILES (before the transition to Scene+), you can save by redeeming your miles: When you use 95 AIR MILES Cash Miles to get $10 off your purchase, Shell often gives you a 10 Bonus Mile reward back.
